Almost 140 years serving sewing professionals and lovers

BMI Barbiero’s story is that of a long family tradition that began in 1880. A key player in historical and cultural changes, our company has always been enthusiastic in expanding its own capabilities. We’ve developed in step with innovations in the field of sewing, always focusing on quality, reliability and serious approach. We founded Barbiero Macchini Industriali in its current form in 1988, with a view to providing an up-to-date, quality service. In 1992, keen to grow and become better known, our company went beyond national boundaries and entered the international market. The number of technical staff increased throughout. In our fifth generation, we expanded and, in 2007, the company became BMI Barbiero.
